NASHVILLE, Tenn -- WSMV-TV Channel 4 garnered 11 nominations for the 24th annual Midsouth regional Emmy awards Friday night.

The nominations include one for "News Excellence," which rewards overall achievement.

The Emmy winners will be announced on January 30.
