CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- A man accused of holding his girlfriend hostage inside a mobile home Sunday morning has been charged with aggravated assault, Clarksville police said.Daniel Ochoa Beltran, 30, and his girlfriend got into an argument outside of a trailer in the Burkhart Mobile Homes on Power Street at about 3:39 a.m.When one of the woman’s friends tried to help her leave, Burkhart began assaulting his girlfriend and threatened her friend with a gun, police said.He then forced his girlfriend inside the trailer and refused to let her leave.When officers arrived, Beltran refused to come out of the trailer, so crisis negotiators were called to the scene.He eventually came out and was arrested without incident, police said.Additional charges are pending.
