Cheatham County To Pay $3.9M For ADA Compliance

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. -- Cheatham County will have to pay an estimated $3.9 million to ensure that all 12 of its schools comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act.According to ADA code inspectors, the upgrades range from more than $700,000 at Sycamore High School to more than $80,000 at Ashland City Elementary.The county's education and budget committee are expected to meet soon to determine how to fund the work.
