PARIS, Tenn. -- A Henry County teacher is off the job and facing felony charges after police said they found several hundred images of child pornography on both his school and personal computers.

The Henry County Sheriff's office arrested Thomas Brewer over the weekend. He faces several charges, including sexual exploitation of a minor.

Brewer taught English, drama and journalism at E.W. Grove School, a ninth grade academy in the Henry County school district.

The teacher will also face drug charges because police said they found marijuana at his home when they searched Saturday.

According to the district's interim director, Brewer had no previous disciplinary problems in his nearly three years with the district. He previously worked with a school system in Texas.

The teacher is in jail on $500,000 bond and at the center of an FBI investigation.
