NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Officials with the Nashville Fire Department say a fire broke out at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday at a duplex on Flint Ridge Drive in north Nashville.Paramedics said a mother and child's injuries were not life-threatening. The victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment.Rescuers treated the family's puppy with oxygen. It's expected to recover.Crews managed to limit the smoke and water damage to one side of the duplex. It's unknown what might have caused the fire.
