On Saturday, friends and family members of Rebecca Mooneyham held a candlelight vigil in Warren County to pray for peace. The woman died after someone shot her through her window.

Jamie Webb recalled the first time she met Rebecca Mooneyham a year ago at a fair in town.

“She was so, just, you could just see the light inside of her," Webb said. "She just really loved the Lord.”

Even for the youngest who knew Rebecca Mooneyham, Saturday was hard.

“She was my Sunday School teacher, and she was a really, really great Sunday School teacher," Amy Webb said. "I'm going to never forget her.”

Dozens of people turned out in McMinnville to remember Rebecca Mooneyham.

“I just hope and pray that the person or people who did this will come forward,” said Cynthia Cantrell, Rebecca Mooneyham’s sister-in-law.

“I don't think she'd believe it. She never would know how many people she actually touched,” said Devoni Mooneyham.

Devoni Mooneyham said she started getting closer to her mom a few years ago after graduating high school.

“She was my best friend. I could talk to her about everything and anything,” Devoni Mooneyham said. “I think they are heartless to take her in cold blood like that. I don't see how anyone could look at her while she was sleeping in her chair and do that to her. I just hope and pray every night that they seen what I seen when I woke up that morning to wake up and see my momma in that chair like that. I hope justice is served."

There have been no arrests in Rebecca Mooneyham's death, and the Warren County Sheriff's Office has not announced any significant leads.

The church is offering a $2,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
