CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- The streets of downtown Clarksville were packed with bystanders as the city's Veterans' Day Parade got underway Saturday morning. The Austin Peay Governors' marching band played several patriotic tunes along the parade route, which went past the campus' College Street side.

Several local ROTC groups also marched, including Northwest High School. Local organizations also had floats in the parade, which honored veterans both past and present.
