LaVergne, Tenn. -- David Sisco was on his computer at about 3 a.m. Thursday when someone rang the doorbell. He looked out the window and thought it was a friend, but he was wrong.
"He came in demanding the car keys, and he had a knife (pointed) at me and he was just saying, 'Give me the keys, or I'll kill you,'" said David Sisco.Jaquon Berry, 18, forced himself inside, said police and pulled a knife on David Sisco. During the commotion, David's mother, Angela, woke up and went to see what was going on."He has on latex gloves with a knife in his hand, and he's got it up against his stomach, and (David Sisco) says, 'Mommy, give him the keys, give him the keys,'" Angela Sisco said.Berry made the woman dump everything out of her purse."He said, 'You're going with me,'" Angela Sisco said. "My son said, 'Don't take my mom; take me.' (Berry) said, 'Everyone in this house is going.'"Angela Sisco's 16-year-old daughter went into the living room, saw what was going on and ran back into her bedroom. She grabbed her old cell phone, which had been deactivated, and dialed 911.Back in the living room, Berry grabbed the keys and took off in the family's car, with LaVergne police in pursuit. He crashed, jumped out and got away on foot. He stole another car.Thursday morning, police said, Berry stole the purse of a woman walking through the parking lot at the Hamilton Church Walmart in Antioch. He then he tried to get away from Metro police by ditching the stolen car on Blue Hole Road in Cane Ridge and taking off running.Police quickly caught Berry, who they said has a criminal past.
