NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Metro police officers used dogs to try to find an armed man who jumped into the Harpeth River in Bellevue at about noon Sunday.Officers said the man pointed a gun at his wife a few hours earlier. The armed man then took off in his vehicle, and officers pulled him over in a traffic stop on Morton Mill Road.The driver then left his vehicle, ran to the river and jumped into the water.Crews searched for about an hour without success.Police are asking the public to give them a call if they can help in the investigation.
