NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Steve McNair's widow, Mechelle McNair, and children are being asked to pay off the car driven by his killer.A claim filed against Steve McNair's estate seeks $43,000 to pay off a loan on a 2007 Cadillac Escalade he bought with his mistress who later killed him and herself. That money would also cover towing and storage costs for the SUV.Documents filed in court this week show the former Tennessee Titans quarterback and Sahel Kazemi jointly purchased a 2007 Escalade on May 7.About two months later the couple were stopped in that same vehicle while driving in downtown Nashville. Kazemi was taken to jail and charged with DUI, and McNair later bailed her out. Two days later, in the early hours of July 4, she shot McNair, likely as he was sleeping, before turning the gun on herself. The claim was filed by the Old Hickory Credit Union, which made the loan.
