NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Metro Nashville police arrested a man in the fatal stabbing that happened outside the Double E Bar & Grille at 4957 Lebanon Pike on June 28.

Leo Knowles, 30, of Goodlettsville, Tenn. is charged with second-degree murder.

Police said Knowles stabbed James Pigue during a fight in the bar parking lot. Pigue was transported to Summit Medical Center, where he died.

Knowles, who was not initially charged, said he stabbed Pigue in self-defense.

He is free on $50,000 bond.
