Body Found In Minivan In Dickson County

Passer-By Discovers Bullet-Riddled Vehicle

Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a minivan in Dickson County.

Ernest Poteet said that he spotted a van with broken windows that was riddled with bullet holes on Lee Brown Road in Bon Aqua, and he called police. Police arrived at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Poteet said he had seen the van there for two days.

Investigators have not released the man’s name or how he was killed. They said they are investigating the death as a homicide.

The sheriff's department said it doesn't have any leads. Anyone with information can call the Dickson County Sheriff's Department.
