NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Metro police are looking for several robbers who ripped an ATM from a bank in south Nashville early Wednesday morning.

Authorities found the ATM at about 2 a.m. down the road from the Regions Bank on Nolensville Road.

Police believe the robbers wrapped a chain around the ATM, attached it to their car and tore it from the bank.

Police said they found three or four cars running in the parking lot, but no one was inside. Investigators think the suspects may have run from their cars because they were about to be caught.

The surveillance cameras were altered before the robbery, but police have some video of possible suspects before the crime.
