CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- A Clarksville teenager was released from jail on Wednesday after she was charged in a plot that resulted in the death of their father in June.

Becca Hart, 18, and her 17-year-old brother, Alex, are charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of their father Gilbert R. Hart, 50, a real estate investor and retired U.S. Army soldier.Clarksville police are now calling widow and mother Becky Hart a person of interest in the case, although she has not been charged.One of Becky Hart's attorneys, Edward Dewerff, said Wednesday he isn't surprised by these new developments, and he had told the widow to expect this.Homicide detective Tim Finley called her a person of interest during a hearing Tuesday in which her daughter, Becca, had her bond reduced from $1 million to $250,000.Finley also testified that the alleged shooter, 15-year-old J.P George, led police to a pond in the Savannah Lakes area south of town where the .38-caliber handgun was recovered by a dive team.Channel 4 learned Wednesday that George was released from crisis intervention observation and was returned to a juvenile detention facility in Columbia.Becca Hart's case is now headed to the grand jury. Alex Hart and George have a transfer hearing July 17 to determine if they will be tried as adults.Police said more evidence is being processed, including the gun, phone and text records.
