The case involving a man accused of child pornography is expected to go on trial later this summer.

Plea negotiations in the case of 52-year-old Louis Levine have broken down, and the case will go to trial Aug. 11 in federal court.

Levine is accused of videotaping teenagers having sex at his Belle Meade home on Alton Road since 1977.

Crucial witnesses against Levine are his teenage son's friends, who claim to be among the victims who were secretly videotaped.

Levine was arrested in April after holding various educational jobs in middle Tennessee since 1980.
