COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- A Cookeville man is accused of trying to kill another man who may have been after his prescription drugs.

According to police, the man who lives at Walnut Village Apartments shot another man once in the head Thursday afternoon.

Rescue crews rushed the victim to a hospital in Chattanooga, where he's in critical condition. The victim has not been identified.

The suspect, Scotty Robinson, is in the Putnam County Jail facing an attempted murder charge.
