ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. -- Cheatham County leaders are meeting Thursday night in the hopes of finding a new 911 director.According to the Ashland City Times, Director Joseph Cook resigned, effective Monday. He didn't give a specific reason.The 911 Board has questioned Cook over several issues, including hiring practices and whether proper procedures were being followed in emergency situations.Right now, 911 shift commander Matt Waldron is the interim director.
