NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee State University's College of Education is helping Metro students this summer who are struggling to read.It has opened a reading clinic at McKissack to help seventh-graders improve their reading skills.Over the next four weeks, students will have one-on-one reading sessions with TSU pre-service teachers.Metro Schools hopes to partner with other universities and offer similar programs district wide.
