NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A dangerous sex offender, who disappeared while on what's called supervision for life, is finally back in custody after making it to Mexico before authorities caught up with him.

Daniel Carr had been convicted on multiple counts of statutory rape and rape.He was released March 27 from the Macon County Jail but never reported to his probation officer and was never fitted with a GPS device.U.S. marshals caught up with Carr in Vera Cruz, Mexico.
