Two Wounded In Gallatin Shooting

One Man Shot Twice Has Life-Threatening Injuries

Police are investigating a double shooting early Monday morning near a Gallatin city park.

Officers received an emergency call to respond to the Fox Den apartments located on Water Avenue at about 3 a.m. The apartments are located a few blocks south of Municipal Park.

Police later found one man shot twice in the back with life-threatening injuries.

The victims have been identified as Raul Morales, 26, who was shot multiple times, and Israel Hernandez-Presa, 34, who was shot in the leg.

Both men were flown to Nashville for treatment. Police expect both people to survive.

The public is asked to call Gallatin police at 452-1313 if they can help in the investigation.
