LaVERGNE, Tenn. -- Police said a mother from LaVergne, Tenn., who vanished on Friday has been found safe and is now returning home.According to police, Mavis "Libby" Perry left her nursing job on Friday, headed out of town and just kept driving. Family members eventually reached Perry on the phone as she was traveling in Colby, Kansas.Perry will meet her family in St. Louis, Mo., before heading back home.Perry is a home health nurse and was reported missing after she failed to return home after work.According to a release, Perry dropped her daughter off at school and then went to visit her first patient of the day. Perry then called a friend while en route to see her second patient, and later called and spoke with her husband at about 11:00 a.m.According to the company she works for, Perry only attended to her first home patient before embarking on her drive.
