PORTLAND, Tenn. -- A teacher in Portland accused of sex crimes against students wants to get back in the classroom. Lawyers for Sandy Binkley went to the school board Tuesday night to ask that Binkley get her job back while she waits for the case to go to trial.Binkley was a math teacher at Portland High School. She's on administrative leave.Police arrested her in September for allegedly having sex with three male students.The boys told police some of the encounters happened at school.
