Head-On Wreck Kills 2, Injures Another

2 Women Killed In Crash

Investigators are looking into what caused a head-on wreck that killed two people on Old Highway 31 East in Sumner County on Sunday evening.

The crash occurred about 5:30 p.m. between Gallatin and Bethpage in the Slideview community of Sumner County.

Jenilou Tincher, 28, of Macon County died at the scene after crossing the center line into the path of a truck.

The other driver, Ned Georgescu, 59, of Westmoreland, is recovering at Vanderbilt Medical Center. His wife Maria, a passenger, died at Sumner Regional Hospital.
