NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A former metro police lieutenant and Teamster pleaded guilty to conspiracy and identity theft at the Metro courthouse Tuesday evening.Calvin Hullet was arrested for breaking into a camp for disadvantaged children run by the rival Fraternal Order of Police in Wilson County to install surveillance equipment.Hullet, 45, was trying to catch Metro officers drinking after hours at the camp.At the time, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Hullett's employer, and the FOP were competing to represent Nashville police officers at the bargaining table.The Teamsters took over representation of the police in 2005 but were decertified in 2007 after a petition drive by the FOP.The Tennessean reported that he faces between 10 and 16 months in federal prison.Hullet will be sentenced in April.Earlier, former Shelby County deputy Joe Everson pleaded guilty to lying to investigators in connection with the incident.
