Franklin Police Say Woman Abandoned Son After $45,000 Fraud

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Franklin police said Linda Harmon abandoned her 14-year-old son after she embezzled $45,000 from two people in New York.Police said the victims wired Harmon the money as part of an investment agreement, but the money was never invested.Police arrested her 14-year-old son and 18-year-old son on suspicion of helping her evade capture. The 14-year-old is out of juvenile detention and has been placed in a private home.They believe Harmon is still in the area.
