NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A Metro police officer was injured Wednesday after a crash on Old Hickory Boulevard.

Officer Danny Johnson was pursuing a speeder when he turned his blue lights on, made a U-turn and was rear-ended by another driver.

Johnson wasn't hurt badly but was taken to the hospital.

Police cited the driver who hit Johnson for not having proof of insurance.
