NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A Smith County man is at Vanderbilt after being shot twice Sunday night.Authorities said the victim met a pair of men at a gas station in Carthage where he was shot in the back and shoulder.After the shooting, the two suspects led police on a chase through Smith, Wilson and Trousdale counties.Officers arrested one of the men after spiking the car's tires.The other man ran away but was captured a few hours later when he showed up at a police checkpoint.
