A mother of two is going to jail for eight years after a murder-for-hire scheme in Putnam County.

Paulette Goodeon, of Algood, was sentenced Wednesday for trying to have her ex-husband killed.

She supplied the hit man with hypodermic needles, a substance that could cause a heart attack and a pistol.

The hit man was an undercover detective.
