JACKSON, Tenn. -- An empty motel room and a disturbing phone call on Friday have police looking for a missing man.

Police in Jackson, Tenn., said that Kelly Berg may have been kidnapped.

Berg, who's from Michigan, checked into a motel and called an employee to let her know he had arrived.

But he called again and left a message just after 5 a.m., saying he'd been abducted by three men, was in the back of a white truck and thought he was traveling east on Interstate 40.

Investigators said Berg's belongings are still in his motel room, but he is missing along with his burgundy Sport Trac Ford Explorer, which has Michigan plates.

Anyone who has seen Berg or the Explorer is advised to call police.
