Separate crashes on Saturday night claimed two young lives and left two others critically hurt.

Metro police said Zachary Kerinuk, 19, died when his Mustang ran off Holt Road in south Nashville, rolled over and hit a tree.

Brittany Leedham, 17, was in the car with him and is listed in critical condition.

In a separate crash in Joelton, officers said Kevin Allen, 22, of Ashland City died when the car he was riding in hit a tree around midnight.

The driver, Tony Brock Jr. of Greenbrier, told police he swerved to miss a deer in the road. He is also in critical condition.
