LIVINGSTON, Tenn. -- Autopsy results released Tuesday confirmed the identity of a body found in a sinkhole as that of Jennifer Cornell. They also show that she died from blunt force trauma to the head.Cornell had been missing since Oct. 30, when her car was found still running in the middle of a road 100 yards from her home in Overton County, with her purse inside.Area firefighter Jason Hancock is in jail, charged with aggravated kidnapping in the case.Cornell's body was found in a sinkhole in Clay County near Hancock's home.Family members said that Hancock approached Cornell six months ago, saying he wanted to be involved in her 16-year-old daughter's life. When he agreed and then refused to take a paternity test, they said a fed-up Cornell got authorities involved, filing a child support suit.A couple of months ago, Cornell proved that Hancock is the father of the teenager, and she began asking him for child support.Hancock has been married for 15 years.Cornell lived in the Hilham community and has a husband and two children.
