Bicyclist Killed In Franklin Crash

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Franklin police said a bicyclist was killed Friday afternoon at a busy intersection after a crash with a lumber truck.
The crash occurred at Columbia Avenue and Downs Boulevard around 12:30 p.m.Police said the victim, Ricky Brice, worked at nearby Moody's tire store and was riding his bike during a work break.
Distraught over the fatal crash, the truck driver was taken to the hospital.An officer who was investigating the crash was a cousin of the victim.
