NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Metro Election Commission said they have more than 22,000 new registered voters, and they expect more before the presidential election. More Political News | Countdown To Belmont Debate | DNC Section | RNC Section That number is up from the 2004 presidential election when there were 18,000 new voters.
The deadline to register is Oct. 6 if voters want to participate in the November election.
