Timothy Ward, 19, was found not guilty in the death of Ebadollah Ghorbani at the Omid Market.

Police had said that Ward and Nasser Muhsin, 16, robbed and killed Ghorbani.

Investigators said that Ward cleaned out the store's register, but Muhsin was the one who pulled the trigger.

Ward still has two unrelated cases pending against him involving carrying a weapon on school property and having cocaine in a drug-free school zone.

The jury in the case deliberated for about six hours before reaching that verdict. In addition to the murder charge, Ward was also cleared of the robbery.
