NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The historic Hermitage Hotel in downtown Nashville has been named one of the top 100 hotels in the U.S.
The ranking is according to Travel and Leisure Magazine.The hotel was built in 1910 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
It has a long-standing reputation of outstanding customer service, which is likely the reason it was chosen."This is a reader-generated rating system, so these are visitors to our city and to our hotel who are subscribers to the Travel and Leisure Magazine, and they have actually written in and voted the Hermitage Hotel one of the top 100 hotels in the country," said hotel representative Janet Kurtz.This is the first time the hotel has appeared on the top 100 list. Earlier this year, it was also named as one of the 500 best hotels in the world by Travel and Leisure Magazine.
