FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- While surrounding areas have all added outdoor shopping centers, Franklin will be the next to get one.Cool Springs Galleria representative said the mall is expanding with an outdoor area of its own.On Friday, CBL, the company that owns the Galleria, announced a new development called The District at Cool Springs Galleria.The center will be an open-air retail, dining and entertainment area.
The District will be built in phases with the first phase set to open in three years.
