Suspect Admits Making Trips Between Alabama, Illinois

A 78-year-old man was arrested in Maury County on charges of running moonshine.

Albert Hudson of Chicago was arrested this week after a deputy stopped him for speeding on Interstate 65. Authorities said they found a load of homemade liquor in his truck.

Hudson admitted to making several trips between Alabama and Illinois to sell untaxed alcohol.

He also told the deputy that he had been pulled over in other states, but because of his age, officers always let him go.
