Average Nashville Gas Price Hits $4
City, State Still Below National Average

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The American Automobile Association announced on Thursday that Nashville has an average gas price of $4 per gallon.
Nashville is the first major city in Tennessee to reach that mark.Triple-A said the prices are likely higher in Nashville compared to the rest of the state because the cost of living and business is higher.
Nashville is still below the national average of $4.11 for a regular gallon of gas.As of Thursday morning, the highest recorded price is $4.15 at a station off Music Valley Drive in Donelson.
