If the new route is successful, it could become permanent. The new route is scheduled to begin in September.Currently it is unclear the route that the bus will take, but one Regional Transit Authority worker said it will be an express route, making few stops. The idea is to get passengers to a major hub, so they can take regular buses to the neighborhoods they need to go to.The Regional Transit Authority said that riding the bus will hopefully cut down on traffic and help curb air pollution.
