Video: Diamond Rebate Claim Ends May 19

Everyone in America who bought a diamond between 1994 and 2006 is eligible for some money back.

De Beers has agreed to pay $275 million for manipulating the price of diamonds, which caused consumers to be overcharged.

According to a chart released by the lawyers who won the case, diamond-only jewelry between $200 and $1,000 could result in a 27.5 percent rebate.

The higher the price of the diamond, the bigger the rebate.

De Beers was ordered to pay $7 million just to advertise that consumers could get a rebate for their diamonds.

Consumers should online to http://www.diamondsclassaction.com and fill out a form or print one and mail it by May 19.

Those who file a rebate do not need a receipt if they file a claim by May 19.
