NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Kroger is now competing with Wal-Mart by expanding its generic drug program.As a result, patients could pay less for more medicine.Kroger is expanding its $4, 30-day prescription program.Beginning on Wednesday, pharmacies will offer 90-day prescriptions for $10.
Kroger is also selling more women's health medications at a discounted price.
