LAFAYETTE, Tenn. -- A very large animal in Macon County is back on solid ground after a strange incident over the weekend.

A horse named Daisy Mae fell into a well on Sunday and was submerged up to her neck in water.

Her owners and a neighbor tried to use an inner tube to get her out but were not successful.

Finally, the residents were able to use a harness around the horse and lifted the animal out of the well with a tractor.
