SMYRNA, Tenn. -- A former Smyrna teacher sentenced to eight years for sex crimes will only have to serve one year in confinement.On Thursday, a judge ordered a split confinement for Kenneth Anderson, so he'll serve one year in jail and then be on probation for the remainder of his sentence.Anderson was a teacher at Smyrna High School.A jury convicted him last year for having sex with a 13-year-old girl.Anderson has another trial in July related to charges of sexual battery by an authority figure.
