UPDATED: 4:29 pm CDT March 14, 2008

As the rebuilding of areas struck by tornadoes in February continues, help is still needed.

In Williamson County, storm victims could use whatever help residents can offer.

But they are seeking volunteers with chainsaws, backhoes, fence installers and people who are willing to help with general debris clean up.

People who would like to help should call 615-799-2575.

Sumner County FEMA Center Closes

The Federal Emergency Management Association is shutting down its recovery center on Harsh Lane in Sumner County.

In Sumner County alone, FEMA has approved more than $240,000 in funding to help rebuild homes and purchase supplies.

After the center closes, residents can still get help at Macon County's recovery center, or they can call FEMA at 800-621-FEMA.
