NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Almost a month after deadly tornadoes ripped through Tennessee, FEMA has announced that storm survivors have asked the government for more than $4.3 million in disaster loans and grants.Currently, 17 counties are considered disaster areas.If you need to get disaster help and haven't applied yet, call the FEMA hot line at 1-800-621-3362.Experts Give Home Safety Advice
FEMA mitigation specialists will be in the affected areas this week.The representatives can discuss ways to make homes and businesses safer from severe storms.The meetings will be located at the following locations from March 3-8, from 8 a.m. 6 p.m.:Polston & Sons
