MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Developers of a proposed Bible-themed amusement park hope public meetings about the project will ease concerns of Rutherford County residents.
Video: Meetings To Discuss Future Of Bible ParkThe developers have identified an area west of Murfreesboro near Interstate 24 as the location to build the 200-acre Bible Park USA. The site is located about 35 miles southeast of Nashville.Last year, residents concerned about traffic and noise from the development launched a petition drive to stop the project.But developers are holding three information sessions in La Vergne, Smyrna and Murfreesboro to hopefully put residents' minds at ease by providing more details about the $175 million project.The first day of the sessions was Sunday and the others will be on Tuesday.
