'Working 4 You' Tornado Relief

Channel 4 is working to help those who were affected by the storm.

    Channel 4 held a special "Working 4 You" Tornado Relief Telethon for two hours that raised over $100,000.

    Those who are interested in donating clothing, canned goods, furniture please call the United Way's Agency Directory, 2-1-1.

    If you are a client and need assistance, please call Red Cross client services 615-250-4294 or FEMA at 1-800-621-FEMA.

    The Nashville Area Red Cross volunteers continue to provide services in Middle Tennessee after deadly tornadoes ripped through the area. Below, are the latest service delivery statistics as of Friday.

    Aid Stations Open: Red Cross AID stations provide certified health and mental health nurses, food, bottled water, comfort kits, toiletry items, clean-up kits, batteries, flashlights and other materials

    Meals Served:
    Nashville Area Red Cross volunteers are currently serving 2500 meals and snacks per day in Sumner, Trousdale and Macon counties.

    * Residents affected by the storm can go by this location to pick up needed items. Individuals wishing to donate items are urged to call 1-866-586-4483 from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

    * All residents are urged to call to request housing assistance. Residents can visit the Disaster Recovery Center from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. or call 1-800-621-3362.

    Volunteer Management Center

    * Any individuals wishing to volunteer their time can go by the Macon County Junior High School from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Volunteer labor is needed to assist home owners in cleanup efforts.

    Located behind National Guard Armory at 1200 Russell Drive.
    * If residents are looking for a lost pet or have found a pet, they are encouraged to go by the center.
