FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- The company that dumped chemicals into a Franklin creek is promising to make sure the air and ground around it is safe.Egyptian Lacquer is setting up air-monitoring sites and digging two wells to monitor groundwater at Liberty Creek.The company admitted last year that it was responsible for chemicals found in the creek.It said it's spent more than $700,000 on cleanup.
