January 16, 2008I want you to see a somewhat prophetic video from long ago, with projections for the future.OK, so the technology doesn't look exactly the way it actually turned out in our present-day computers.... but it's eerily accurate in depicting what we are capable of doing nowadays right in our homes.The video is an old industrial film from Philco-Ford, made in 1967, titled "Year 1999 A.D." -- and you'll notice the guy in the video is a young Wink Martindale.The "fingertip shopping" they talk about is fairly close to today's reality with eBay and other shopping sites.
