Skate Park Collision Kills 44-Year-Old Man

Police Say Twin Brothers Collide While Skating

Metro police said that a man has died due to a collision with another person at a skate park.

Officials said twin brothers Michael Jeansonne, 44, of Denham Springs, La., and Anthony Jeansonne, 44, of Baton Rouge, La., were skating at Two Rivers Skate Park when they collided.

Michael Jeansonne fell back onto his head, according to officials. Police said he was transported to Summit Medical Center where he died.

Police said the deceased man was wearing a helmet at the time of impact.

The skate park is located in the Two Rivers area of Nashville next to Wave Country.

The park is very popular with young people for skateboarding and inline skating.
